Maintenance Planner

The Maintenance Planner supports the Supervisory Engineer and subsequently the Repair Station Manager with the preparation and execution of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
This role ensures that maintenance plans are effectively coordinated to meet regulatory and operational requirements, supporting the overall efficiency and compliance of the maintenance program.
This role ensures the maintenance program contributes to fleet airworthiness, reduces downtime, and maintains operational safety while adhering to regulatory standards.
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for/to:
- Design and implement maintenance schedules based on regulatory requirements, OEM guidelines, and organizational standards. Carrying out long, medium- and short-term planning as directed by the Supervisory Engineer.
- Prepares the daily maintenance plan in a timely manner for delivery to the Crew Chief.
- Plan and prioritize maintenance tasks, adjusting for unforeseen delays or additional repairs to minimize operational impact.
- Works closely with Stores to ensure parts reserved for scheduled maintenance (if consumed) are re-ordered.
- Work closely with the Logistics Department to order and allocate material required for work orders or tasks.
- Identify resources required for upcoming Work Orders/Task Cards not normally available at the base.
- Works closely with the Maintenance Program Specialist and Continuing Airworthiness Manager regarding program content and modification (e.g. AD, SB, CSN) and utilization and optimization of the Maintenance management system.
- Regularly review and adjust aircraft utilization in the WinAir Maintenance management system.
- Act as a liaison with internal and external parties, including OEMs, CAAT inspectors, and engineering support, for seamless operations and regulatory compliance.
- Anticipate potential risks (e.g., resource shortages or regulatory inspections) and prepare contingency plans to address these effectively.
- Coordinate resources, including manpower, tools, and spare parts, to ensure timely maintenance.
- Manage and coordinate resources for unscheduled maintenance and AOG situations to ensure quick resolution with minimal operational disruption.

- Identify and mitigate risks, such as resource shortages or unforeseen regulatory inspections, through proactive planning.
QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aviation maintenance planning.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Very strong mentoring and communication skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively in culturally diverse environments.
- Effective skills in the application of Microsoft Office.
- Strong English communication skills, with a Minimum TOEIC score of 600.
- Flexibility with changing requirements regarding work hours/days, location, and travel.
- Cooperative team player capable of dealing with changing deadlines and priorities.
